Deep in the back room of the busy tavern, away from all the noise, hustle and bustle of daily life, and the screams of merchant's, songs of bards and curses of drunken men, are seven doors and stairs leading up.
However the stairs are locked, and all but one of the doors as well.
You enter the unlocked door, and the room is a dazzling shade of bronze, mixed with emeralds and ruby's. Paintings of Sun Gods are all about the room, it's obvious that the present renter hails from the Great Desert.
Stepping into the room and out of the doorway, the door closes behind you, and a slender figure dressed in a crimson travelers cloak and black leather pants enters from what seems like nowhere.
"Greetings young one, My name is Uriel. I am both the owner of this bar and giver of the quests. Many have been my adventures, and much as been my rewards. I wish to settle here, and watch over he whom I am sent to protect, and all I need are but a few. So for the completion of each quest, you shall receive an item."
Uriel turns from you and walks toward a painting of what looks like a vast wasteland, beautiful yet empty and void of all life. He turns back, the hood falling off his face to reveal short black spiked hair and blindfolded eyes.
"I know what you think, and no I am not blind," he describes you perfectly, down to the last detail and so precess that somethings you didn't even know your self were present on your body his attention turns back to the painting, "This is a picture of the Great Desert, not much there now, but it used to be a thriving city. It's people more advanced then one could ever imagine, but that knowledge was what brought their demise...In the ruins of the raiments of the metropolis, is an old weather beaten book. Bring it to the Old Hermit that lives on the farthest stretches of the Desert's Borders, and then from him bring me a note that states proof that you've brought him the book -Intact- and I shall give you something worthy of your trial."
He moves toward a large chest and pulls from it a large woolen sac, and explains as he hands it to you, "The Desert maybe trapped in eternal daylight, but you still need to keep up your strength. When you get tired, sleep in this tent, it will keep you safe from what ever may be there, from monsters to the weather. No go, and do not return to me, until you have the note."
You go to say something when the room spins and you find your self out in the hallway again, the noise of the bar floating in through a crack in the main door, trying the handle of the room you where just in, you find it to be locked. shrugging you turn out and start your Quest.
To except this Quest to the fullest, please post with the following: "I *enter characters name* except this quest, Please Uriel, guide me through"
Uriel will then start the quest in the proper thread.
